Abstract: The aim of this research study is to identify the factors affecting work life balance ofemployees working in base hospitals in Ampara district. For this study purpose,researcher selected the two base hospitals in Ampara district namely Ashraf MemorialHospital, Kalmunai and Base hospital, Nintavur. The base hospitals play a major role jn wellbeing of the nation’s people and country’s economy as well. ThereforeEmployees have huge responsibility toward the people of the nation and country. Aswell as the hospitals and country also have the huge contribution towards the wellbeingof this high positioned employees.When the employees are in a way in which they can balance their both personal andprofessional life, then they will be happier and motivated in fulfilling their bothindividual and organizational goals. Therefore this research is important to bothemployees in high position who are working in base hospitals in Ampara district andfor the base hospitals as well.‘he alternative hypothesis were developed to achieve the research objectives. Thetarget population consisted 341 employees from two base hospitals in Ampara district.from that population researcher selected 109 employees as sample to conduct thesurvey by using convenience and purposive sampling method. The data were collected_by using questionnaire method by including 49 close ended questions with demographicprofile of the respondents. The questions were developed based on the 5 point Likertscale.‘The Rand P values are the major determinant to confirm whether the expected‘relationship between independent and dependent variables were achieved or not.According to the data analysis, all the selected factors have the positive relationshipwith work life balance. Therefore all alternative hypothesis were accepted and nullhypothesis were rejected.The findings and conclusions indicated that when the both employees and hospitalsconsidered the work life balance, it will be useful to the achievement of every individualand organizational satisfaction and wellbeing which will in turn increase the desiredlevel of good life. As well from suggestions, the future researcher can come out withthe new innovative results from the research area. Abstract: A Study was conducted in apparel manufacturing sector in Rathnapura district, Sri Lankawhich is one of the leading export sector in Sri Lankan industry. The specific objectivesof the study were to determine the relationship between Co-worker and Supervisorysupport on Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) and to determine the level of coworker support, supervisory support and OCB. Data was gathered through a survey usinga structured questionnaire to 150 employees working in Brandix Apparel Solution Ltd atNiwithigala Sri Lanka. The sample was drawn by using random sampling. A series oftests such as factor analysis, correlation, and reliability analysis was conducted by usingthe SPSS software.to confirm that the instrument is valid as well as reliable. Abstract: Organizational Commitment is an important element in an organization. Committedemployees are willing to sacrifice for the sake of the organization’s goal with a strongdesire to stay. In addition, motivated employees will provide a high commitmenttowards them, feel less pressure thus love their work. Unmotivated employees willcontribute to absenteeism, perform poorly at work and other negative factors that maycontribute to organization. Therefore the aim of the study is to examine the Impact ofWork Motivation on Organizational Commitment. For this study I selected Small andMedium Sized Organization in Muruthalawa region.The sample size of the study is 87 from four SMEs in Muruthalawa region and thesimple random sampling was used to select the sample. The primary data was used forthis study and self- administrated questionnaire were distributed among employees whoare working in those four SMEs. The data was analyzed using the IBM statisticalprogram for social science (SPSS) version 20. Hypothesis of the study are, there is apositive relationship between Motivation, its dimension (intrinsic, extrinsic) andOrganizational Commitment, its dimension (affective, continuance and normative).Therefore 9 hypothesis were developed and all null hypothesis were rejected andalternative hypothesis were accepted based on correlation and regression results.The finding of the research is there is positive relationship between all dimension ofmotivation and the dimension of organizational commitment. And the extrinsicmotivation has more impact on affective and normative commitment. Abstract: The study sought to investigate the effect of Leadership qualities practiced in anorganization and their effect on Employee job performance. The purpose of this studyis to understand the effect of different Leadership qualities on Employee jobperformance. The objectives that guided the study were; to investigate the effect ofleadership qualities affect Employee performance, Leadership quality is a positive,fulfilling, affective- motivational state of work-related wellbeing. Understanding pre dispositional characteristics and their relationship with employees’ performance is important because it contributes to theoretical basis of the construct. Hence organizations may be better off improving on their employees with certain Leadership Qualities if they want to create an engaged workforce. This research investigates the leadership qualities of supervisor and the employees’ job performance in District Secretariat in Trincomalee District. In this study, Leadership Qualities were used to measure various dimensions of Supervisor which are Leaders Commitment, Communication, Workforce Education, Effective Performance Appraisal, and Pay Equality. To attain the objectives, the quantitative method was used and data were collected through questionnaires. A total of 100 questionnaires were distributed to employees in District Secretariat in TrincomaleeDistrict.The result of this study demonstrates that there is a strong positive relationshipbetween Leadership Quality and Employees’ Performance has scored higher valuewith existing level in work.However, Openness to Experience is the factors that influence mostly on in DistrictSecretariat in Trincomalee District. In the light of the results, possible managerialimplications ‘are discussed and future research subjects are recommended. Thisresearch contributes to the growing literature on the in-District Secretariat inTrincomalee District. The data were analysed using Descriptive, correlation, SimpleLiner regressions. In conclusion, it is observed that Leadership Qualities haveinfluence on the employees’ Job Performance.This shows that supervisors need to develop good Leadership Qualities, abilities andpractices in attaining high Job performance level among the employees.
