Islam concerns in re-forming human activities. It guides to resolve the mental needs too. In accordance with that, it contains Islamic Counselling to manage day to day human activities. This concept is begun to discuss among Sri Lankan minority Muslims. Therefore, this research aims to identify the clarity of Islamic Counseling among undergraduates. It uses descriptive analysis methodology. The primary data were gathered through discussion and questionnaire among 150 undergraduates. As well as the secondary data were collected from research papers, books, articles, and website articles. This research finds that the undergraduates agree to get well knowledge about the Islamic Counselling since they are negligence and they omit to practice to meet Islamic Counsellor due to the social expectations.

الظواهر الفكرية والأسلوبية في الرواية العربية "جميلة" لعبد العزيز عبد الكريم برهان الدين Abdulkareem, Jamiu Saadullah This article is an analytical study of the ideational and stylistic features in the Arabic novel entitled “Jamilah” authored by ‘Abdul ‘Aziz ‘AbdulkarimBurhanddin. The novel’s major theme is love affair between Habib and Jamilah but some other religious, cultural, socio-political, economic and administrative aspects of human life were included for presentation of positive cultures and values in Nigeria. Indeed, this creative work has not gained much attention from researchers in Nigeria, despite its language and literature benefits for Arabic readers and researchers to acquaint them with life values. The main objectives of the study were to determine the extents at which the novel portrayed the plausibility of the issues raised, also the aesthetics of the style used, as requiredin story-writing. The methodology adopted was both historical and analytical. The historical method was used for correlation of the novelist’s biographywith historical facts raised. The analytical method was also used in practical study of the stylistic features in the novel. The major findings of the study were that the novelist’s capability in the use of Arabic knowledge for writing is evident in the aspects of grammar, logic and rhetoric for portrayal of clearness, stongness and beauty inthework.The researcher thereby recommended that elegant Arabic style should further be used in creative writingsto continue to promote aesthetics of literature, and generally the life valuesas Burhanuddin did.

Contributions of Sufi orders on the overall development of Muslims of Saki, Saki west local government area of Oyo state, Nigeria Adetoro Yusuff, Aminullahi The growth and spread of Islam in West Africa and particularly in Nigeria have always been attributed to the activities of Ṣūfī orders. Between the mid and last quarter of twentieth century Sufism was subjected to a bulk of criticism. It seems that the tidal waves of the said criticism and proliferation of Muslim associations have allowed the study of Ṣūfī orders to be felt. Thus, this study is an attempt directed towards bringing into the fore the genuineness or otherwise of the contributions of Ṣūfī orders on the overall development of Muslims of Saki. One hundred (100) samples were selected through random sampling technique; structured questionnaire was designed to elicit information from the respondents. Data collected were analyzed using simple percentage statistical tool. The study revealed that Sufism is described as the core and beauty of Islam by its practitioners while to some it has been regarded as bogus, flippant, vile and irksome defilement in the parapet and structure of Islam and therefore, vitriolic criticism of its rites and practices. The study also discovered that Ṣūfī orders contributed to the lives of the people educationally, politically and socially but a very little of religious reawakening. The study recommended that Muslims must not only be sincere in restricting themselves to the Sunnah of the Prophet (SAW) in all religious affairs but also refrain from all temptations that are either unlawful or innovative in the remembrance and showing reverence to Allah, the Almighty.
