H. இலங்கை தென்கிழக்குப் பல்கலைக்கழகம் முஸ்லிம் மாணவிகளை அதிகளவு உள்வாங்குகின்ற பல்கலைகழகமாகக் காணப்படுகிறது.அதிலும் குறிப்பாக இஸ்லாமிய கற்கைகள் மற்றும் அறபு மொழிப் பீடம் ஆலிமாக்களை அதிகளவு கொண்ட பீடமாகும். இப்பீடத்தில் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட அமைப்புகளாக உள்ள பீடத்தின் மாணவர் பேரவை, சமூக ஆய்வுகளுக்கான மாணவர் ஆய்வு மன்றம் மற்றும் முஸ்லிம் மஜ்லிஸ் என்பவற்றில் முஸ்லிம் மாணவிகளின் ஈடுபாடு தொடர்பாக இவ்வாய்வு மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளது. இவ்வாய்வு இலங்கை தென்கிழக்குப் பல்கலைகழகத்தின் இஸ்லாமிய கற்கைகள் மற்றும் அறபு மொழிப் பீடத்தினுடைய முஸ்லிம் மாணவிகள் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட அமைப்புக்களில் ஈடுபாடு குறைவாகக் காட்டுவதை அடையாளப்படுத்துவதையும் அவர்கள் அவற்றில் குறைவாக ஈடுபடுவதற்கான காரணங்களை இனங்காண்பதையும் நோக்கங்களாகக் கொண்டது. பண்புசார் மற்றும் அளவுசார் ஆய்வு முறைகளைக் கலந்தமந்த இவ்வாய்விற்கு முதலாம் மற்றும் இரண்டாம் நிலைத் தரவுகள் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டு, முதலாம் நிலைத் தரவுகளுக்கு வினாக் கொத்து,நோ்காணல் மற்றும் கலாந்துரையாடல் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. வினாக்கொத்து மூலமான தொகை ரீதியான தகவல்கள் கணனி மென்பொருள் MS Excel மூலம் பகுப்பாய்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. இரண்டாம் நிலைத் தரவுகளைப் பெற்றுக் கொள்வதற்கு புத்தகங்கள், சஞ்சிகைகள், இணையத்தள கட்டுரைகள். அறிக்கைகள் போன்றன பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டன. மாணவிகள் இவ்வமைப்புகளில் குறைவாக ஈடுபடுவதையும் அவர்கள் அவற்றில் பங்களிப்புச் செய்யாமைக்கு ஆண், பெண் கலப்பு, கற்பதற்கு சவால், பிரபல்யம் (Noted)ஆகுதல், ஆண்களோடு குழுப்படங்கள் எடுக்க வேண்டி ஏற்படல், பரீட்சைக்கு தயாராக நேரமின்மை, பொழுதுபோக்கு நேரங்கள் இல்லாமலாகுதல், துணைவரோடு உரையாட வேண்டிய தேவை, வீட்டாரின் மறுப்பு போன்றவற்றை காரணங்களாகவும் கண்டறியப்பட்டது. இறுதியில் அமைப்புக்களில் மாணவிகளின் அதிகரித்த ஈடுபாட்டை ஊக்குவிப்பதற்கான பரிந்துரைகளையும் இது வழங்குகின்றது.எதிர்காலத்தில் இவ்விடயத்தில்ஆய்வை மேற்கொள்வோருக்கு உதவுவதாகவும் இவ்வாய்வு அமைகிறது 2018-12-17T00:00:00Z http://ir.lib.seu.ac.lk/handle/123456789/3822 Economic cost of open waste dump site: with special reference to gohagoda dump in Kandy district Rismina, M. Solid Waste management is most challengeable and hazardable issue around the world and especially in the developing countries like Sri Lanka with its open dumping practice and financial constraints as it causes huge cost along with its impacts. Thus, this study evaluates the economic and cost of the waste dump site located at Gohagoda and alternate methods. The total population residing in the target area was used to collect data for this study. Primary data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with people living nearby the dump site and officers, laborers of Municipal Council. Statistics of Municipal Council and related journals, reports, website were used to collect secondary data. Collected data were analyzed and interpreted in a descriptive method by using SPSS, MS Excel computer packages. The results reveal that dump site causes a significant amount of economic cost approximately LKR. 11 million per month to the societies living nearby the dump site and to the government. Among different components of economic costs, land cost is higher as it comprises 88 percent of costs respectively on each. Therefore, this study recommends alternate methods of waste disposal such as composting and recycling and to vacate households nearby the dump site by providing fair compensation. 2018-12-17T00:00:00Z http://ir.lib.seu.ac.lk/handle/123456789/3821 Desert future of married woman: a criminological study on husbands’ influence to female imprisoners for their guilty of crimes Wijewardhana, B. N. V. Females are well-thought-out as extraordinary characters due to their specific roles and eminence. Those married women are conferred to perform the most essential deals at domestic level including social adaptation of children within the family system. It is also a typical incidence that clashes within families are emerged whenever the challenges are encountered on the domestic affairs. The targeted group of this research is 63 married women those who are undergoing punishments being imprisoners due to their involvement on breach of law. Women who are enduring penalties being imprisoners in contradictory to their bestowed tasks and status based on the gender related matters at domestic level, this study attempts to accentuate the causes affected them to be guilty on some offenses and also to analyze whether influences were there or not from their husbands, if so, in what nature and which form of influences was the problem to be ascertained through this research. Accordingly, 63 married women prisoners were selected from different age categories and from mixed religious backgrounds. The research was launched through discussions, using questionnaire, observations, and case studies and via focused group discussions, too. The investigations revealed that 79.66% of informants were in the opinion that main cause behind their offensiveness was the muddles involved by their husbands. It was also disclosed that husbands’ direct involvement on drug related actions, abusing women, murder, theft and burglary were candidly affected them to face the current situation. The research findings substantiated that methodical approach to ensure social re-amendment targeted on family system with the assurance that effective relationship between wife and husband aimed at assumable society. 2018-12-17T00:00:00Z http://ir.lib.seu.ac.lk/handle/123456789/3820 உலமாக்களின் மும்மொழி பற்றிய மதிப்பீடு: கம்பஹா மாவட்ட அத்தனகல்ல தேர்தல் தொகுதியை மையப்படுத்திய ஆய்வு மாஸின், எம்.என்.எம்.; அப்துர் ரஹீம், எஸ்.ஏ.; ரிஸ்லா, எம்.எச்.எப். மொழி ஒருவரின் சிந்தனைகளையும் கருத்துக்களையும் மற்றொருவருக்கு தெரிவிக்கும் மிகச் சிறந்த ஊடகமாகும். இஸ்லாமிய அழைப்புப் பணியை மேற்கொள்ளும் உலமாக்களுக்கு முக்கியமானதும் அவசியமானதுமான திறனாக மொழித்திறன் காணப் படுகின்றது. இலங்கையில் சிங்களம், தமிழ் , ஆங்கிலம் போன்ற மொழிகள் முக்கிய மொழிகளாக காணப்படுகின்றன. எனவே உலமாக்கள் மும்மொழிகளிலும் புலமை பெற்றிருப்பது அவசியமாகின்றது. அந்தவகையில் இவ் ஆய்வு, கம்பஹா மாவட்ட அத்தனகல்ல தேர்தல் தொகுதியில் வசிக்கும் மற்றும் தொழில் புரியும் உலமாக்களில் மும்மொழிப் புலமையை மதிப் பிடல் மற்றும் அதில் அவர்கள் எதிர்நோக்கும் சவால்கள் என்பவற்றை இனங்காணல் எனும் பிரதான நோக்கங்களை அடிப் படையாகக் கொண்டு மேற்கொள்ளப் பட்டது. ஆதற்காக கம்கஹா மாவட்ட அத்தனகல்ல தேர்தல் தொகுதியில் வசிக்கும், தொழில் புரியும் உலமாக்களில் 50 நபர்கள் எழுமாறாக தெரிவு செய்யப் பட்டு வினாக்கொத்துகள் பகிரப்பட்டு, சேமிக்கப் பட்ட தரவுகளை பகுப்பாய்வு செய்து இவ் ஆய்வு மேற் கொள்ளப் பட்டது. பெறுபேறுகளின் படி, உலமாக்களினல் அதிக பெறும்பான்மையினர் தமிழ் மொழியில் வாசிப்பு, எழுத்து, கேட்டு விளங்குதல் போன்றவற்றில் தேர்ச்சி பெற்று விளங்கியதோடு, சிங்களம் மற்றும் ஆங்கிலம் ஆகிய மொழிகளில் 50%அல்லது அதற்கு குறைவானவர்களே வாசிப்பு, பேச்சு, எழுத்து, கேட்டு விளங்குதல் போன்றவற்றில் தேர்ச்சி பெற்று காணப்பட்டனர். மொழியை விருத்தி செய்து கொள்ள தடையாக அமைந்த காரணிகளில் அதிக வேலைப்பளு என்பது பிரதான காரணியாக அடையாளப்படுத்தப்பட்டது. வழிகாட்டல் இன்மை தாய்மொழிச் செல்வாக்கு என்பனவும் காரணங்களாக இனங்காணப்பட்டன. உலமாக்களின் மும்மொழிப் புலமை விருத்தி தொடர்பான முன்னெடுப்புக்களை மேற்கொள்ள இவ் ஆய்வு உறுதுணையாக இருக்கும் என்பது ஆய் வாளர்களின் எதிர்பார்ப்பாகும். 2018-12-17T00:00:00Z
