<link>http://ir.lib.seu.ac.lk/handle/123456789/747</link>
<description>The differences between government employees and private employees in allocating their assets in financial investment
Dhanapala, D.M.P.G.N
The aim of this study is to identify the differences between Government Employees&#13;
and Private Employees in allocating their assets in financial investment. This study is&#13;
used primary data gathered from issuing questionnaires which is collected from 50 of&#13;
Government Employees and 50 of Private sector Employees to compare the&#13;
investment asset allocation of Government and Private employees.&#13;
The finding of this study reveals that most of Government Employees are conservative&#13;
investors and most of Private Employees are growth oriented investors. Conservative&#13;
Government Employees are not willing to tolerate noticeable downside market fluctuations,&#13;
and are willing to forego most all significant upside potential, relative to the markets.&#13;
From analysis of Government Employees, main investment objectives of them are&#13;
safety and generate income. They have no growth or aggressive objectives for&#13;
investment. That's why they consider only retirement income and supplement them&#13;
overall income. Main objectives of Private Employees are growth and aggressive&#13;
income. They have growth or aggressive objectives for investment. They like to&#13;
reinvest investment income and maximize them. Based on the time horizon analysis&#13;
of the investment, Government Employees are willing to realize their investment with&#13;
in maximum five years, meanwhile majority of Private sector Employees wish to have&#13;
a maturity period between six to ten years.

<link>http://ir.lib.seu.ac.lk/handle/123456789/746</link>
<description>Impact of dividend policy on share prices of listed companies in Sri Lanka
Wanigasinghe Nishaka, R
It is felt strongly that payment of dividends influence investors to the value of&#13;
stock and also dividends decision is the most important decision in the company's&#13;
point of view. Therefore payments of dividends decrease the internal financing&#13;
required for investment opportunities. So this will avoid the growth of the firm, which&#13;
in turn affects to the value of the stock. This study has been undertaken to identify the&#13;
impact of Dividend policy on share prices of listed companies in Sri Lanka and to&#13;
identify the relationships between the Earning per Share, Net Assets per Share and&#13;
Share market Price. In the methodology the secondary data was collected from the&#13;
annual reports of those companies of Bank finance &amp; Insurance sector have&#13;
registered in CSE as at March,31 2012 and 08 companies have been taken into&#13;
the consideration for the analysis purpose. The analysis shows that low negative&#13;
relationship between the dividend payout ratio and share market price while low&#13;
positive relationship between the dividend plowback ratio and share market price.&#13;
This research identified High positive relationship between Earning per Share (EPS)&#13;
and Net Asset per Share (NAPS) towards the share market price. It is also found that&#13;
the Earning per Share (EPS) has been highly affected to the share prices than the Net&#13;
Asset per Share (NAPS) in Colombo Stock Exchange.

<title>Impact of employee attitudes on employee performance</title>
<link>http://ir.lib.seu.ac.lk/handle/123456789/743</link>
<description>Impact of employee attitudes on employee performance
Senevtrathna, G.M.P.K
The objective of this study was to investigate whether employee attitudes (job&#13;
Satisfaction, job commitment and job involvement) impact on employee performance.&#13;
To achieve this objective, researcher has selected three apparel companies of Daya&#13;
Apparel Export Group of Companies. Four hypothesis were formulated for this&#13;
research study. Researcher has selected employee attitudes (job satisfaction, Job&#13;
commitment and job involvement) as independent variable and employee&#13;
performance as a dependent variable. Sample size of this research was 296, which&#13;
was selected by using simple random method. Structured questionnaire used to get the&#13;
primary data collection. The Univariative analysis, Bivariative analysis and Multiple&#13;
regression analysis were used to analyze the variables.&#13;
The study results revealed that, there is positive relationship between job satisfaction&#13;
and employee performance with the correlation value of 0.564. And there is positive&#13;
relationship between job commitment and employee performance with the correlation&#13;
value of 0.561. And also, there is positive relationship between job involvement and&#13;
employee performance with the value of 0.662.&#13;
The multiple linear regression equation shows that the *b' value of the independent&#13;
variables of job satisfaction, job commitment and job involvement is 0.520, 0.139 and&#13;
0.176 respectively. This simply indicates that there is positive relationship between&#13;
the independent variables (job satisfaction, job commitment and job involvement) and&#13;
dependant variable (employee performance).
