<link>http://ir.lib.seu.ac.lk/handle/123456789/7294</link>
<description>Political representation and impact factors of women in the national assembly Sri Lanka and Bangladesh

Asian regional state of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh national legislative assembly. The main objective&#13;
of the study is to define and analysis the political participation of women in the Sri Lanka and&#13;
Bangladesh national legislative assembly of Bangladesh Jatio Sangsad from 1970 to 2021. And to&#13;
explain the factors impacting the political participation of women. Secondary data were used in this&#13;
study, quantitative and qualitative data are in use. This time it is useful to relate the political&#13;
participation of women in the national legislative assembly of women from 1970 to 2021 in Sri&#13;
Lanka and Bangladesh. Secondary data used in this study includes library and internet. At the end of&#13;

political participation of women in national legislative assembly was very under representation.&#13;
Hower, the political participation of women in Bangladesh in on the rise compared to Sri Lanka. In&#13;
the South Asian region. It is a common feature that Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have very low&#13;
representation of women in their national legislative assembly. It’s influenced by various factors such&#13;
as socio, economic, political and ideological. Education and family background have also had an&#13;
impact on women’s parliamentary political participation. Issues such as education and family&#13;
background have also had an impact on political participation. It can also be said that women in&#13;
Bangladesh and Sri Lanka need to be politically empowered to increase their political participation in&#13;
parliament in the future, as well as increase the political representation of women in the National&#13;
Assembly while strengthening the legal framework.

<title>An analysis of the use of nuclear weapons in the south Asian region</title>
<link>http://ir.lib.seu.ac.lk/handle/123456789/7293</link>
<description>An analysis of the use of nuclear weapons in the south Asian region
Fathima Benazir, A. W.
The article examines the India-Pakistani nuclear arms race and its effect to the regional security in&#13;
South Asia today. The tenth anniversary of India and Pakistan’s 1998 nuclear tests enables scholars&#13;
to revisit the issue of South Asian proliferation with a decade of hindsight. In this article, I examine&#13;
two phases of Indo-Pakistani relations after the nuclear tests: the period from 1998 to 2002, from&#13;
2002 to 2008, and from 2008 forward. Nuclear weapons have had two destabilizing effects on the&#13;
South Asian security environment. First, nuclear weapons’ ability to shield Pakistan against an all-out&#13;
Indian retaliation and attract international attention to Pakistan’s dispute with India, encouraged&#13;
aggressive Pakistani behavior. Second, these crises have triggered significant changes in India’s&#13;
conventional military posture. Such developments may lead to future regional instability. This study&#13;
was carried out using secondary data method. Furthermore, this study is also based on the method of&#13;
descriptive analysis.

<title>Ways of knowledge in Indian philosophy - a view</title>
<link>http://ir.lib.seu.ac.lk/handle/123456789/7292</link>
<description>Ways of knowledge in Indian philosophy - a view
Kanesarajah, K.
Philosophy literally means ‘Love of wisdom’. In this context there are two major divisions of&#13;
philosophy such as, Eastern and Western philosophy. Eastern philosophy is closely associated with&#13;
religious beliefs and values. Whereas the western philosophical thoughts related with knowledge,&#13;
metaphysics, ethics and aesthetic as well. As far as the Indian philosophy is concerned which has&#13;
proposed a distinct approach about the origin of knowledge. In addition to reason and experience, the&#13;
Indian epistemology also emphasized testimony as one of the sources of knowledges. Hence in&#13;
ordered unlike the source of western epistemological sources of knowledge the Indian&#13;
epistemological family believes a separate entity called testimony also one of the commonest of the&#13;
sources of knowledge. In order to gain the proper logical reasoning logic itself playing a pivotal and&#13;
also lead a proper mode of thought. Further this paper is striving to bring out what short of strategy&#13;
the Indian thinkers had used to secure this method of thoughts to justify the proper mode of&#13;
knowledge. This research is based on secondary data based and qualitative based as well. The&#13;
necessary data for this research had obtained from relevant literature review, research essays and web&#13;
sites as well as for the research study both the analytical and critical methodology had been used.

<title>Physical, psychological and behavioral changes in covid-19 vaccinated persons: a study based on the area of Akkaraipattu</title>
<link>http://ir.lib.seu.ac.lk/handle/123456789/7291</link>
<description>Physical, psychological and behavioral changes in covid-19 vaccinated persons: a study based on the area of Akkaraipattu
Ashfa, M. A. F.; Natha, A. F.; Inshaf Iqbal, M. I.; Mazahir, S. M. M.
The corona virus has turned the world upside down for the past two years in today's technological&#13;
world where nothing is cosmic. Tens of thousands of people are dying and suffering from Corona&#13;
virus. So, Corona vaccines are being invented and distributed in many countries with the advice of&#13;
the World Health Organization to save the people from that virus. Corona vaccines have been given&#13;
in Sri Lanka for the last three months. Although the government is paying more attention to the&#13;
corona vaccine, people may find themselves in a state of confusion over the physical, psychological&#13;
and behavioral changes caused by the corona vaccine. Based on this, the study aims to determine the&#13;
physical, psychological and social / behavioral changes in those who have been vaccinated . In this&#13;
study, questionnaires were given to 75 rendemly selected candidates from Akkaraipattu area and&#13;
collected. Initial data were obtained from questionnaires, interviews, observations, and secondary&#13;
data were obtained from research subdivisions, WHO reports, web articles, and journals. The&#13;
findings of the study show that although most of those surveyed have indicated that the vaccine is&#13;
essential, it is feared that it may cause side effects. The study also found physical, psychological and&#13;
behavioral changes in those who were vaccinated. Most of them have physical changes such as&#13;
headache, fever, body aches and limb pain. Similarly, it can be seen that psychological changes have&#13;
taken place in more and more people, in which there have been changes such as fear and&#13;
apprehension, as well as positive changes with many behavioral changes. Therefore, the study also&#13;
identified general physical, psychological and behavioral changes in the corona vaccine.
