Mobile Communication has been readily available for several years, and is the
major business today not only in Sri Lanka but also all over the world. It provides
a valuable service to its users who are willing to pay a considerable premium over
a fixed line phone, to be able to walk and talk freely because of its usefulness and
the money involved in the business. There are many definitions for
communication. Mobile phone cloning is the process of transmission of personal
identifiable information from one cellular device to another device. Cloning is
completely successful with CDMA mobile telephone services. But it’s not so
successful with GSM networks. This technique is banned in some countries. There
are various companies involving to product mobile phone. At the same time, hand
phone users are increasing day to day than fixed land-phone users. The objective
of this research is to explore how far the mobile phone usage by adults leads to
immoral activity. It has severely affected the adult’s communications. It causes
dangerous situations for their proposing solutions to resolve their ethical issues by
using mobile phone. Most of them in the Divisional Secretariat consider using
mobile phone as social status. Methodology of this research is analytical,
explanation, and descriptive. Data for the research was collected from primary data
and as well as secondary data. Interviews, Questionnaires are the primary data,
books, magazine, documentations, essays and news paper articles are secondary
data. Accordingly tandem information was gathered from the families living in this
area, officials of the village and, samurdhi development officers. Further
information was also gathered from organization and societies from these villages.
The finding of the study reveals most of the adults are addicted for mobile phone
culture and it has affected their education. Usage of the phone is creating many
problems in the research area. Further it causes lack of sleeping, worries and
phobia. The potential impact of the kind of electromagnetic fields generated by
cellular phones on the human brain has received little attention until relatively
recently. |
