Abstract:
Education is the process of facilitating learning of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs and
habits. The goal of this research was to determine the value and impact of teacher
student interactions (TSI) in relation to student motivation. This exploratory study
begins to fill the gap in literature by examining the current trend of teacher-student
interaction on student motivation through 200 students selected in Faculty of
management and Commerce of South Eastern University. The important exploration of
this study analysis the impact of the teacher student interaction on student motivation.
The data were collected through the questionnaire with random sampling method and
collected data were analyzed and evaluate by bivariate techniques for this study.
However mainly this study identifies TSI positively influence on student motivation.
The study concern independent variable with four dimensions and dependent variable.
Independent variable indicates high level influence on student motivation and overall
view the TSI is positively influence on student motivation. However, teachers need to
improve their commitments to achieve great student’s motivation. Eventually this
report recommends some action for improving teacher student interaction.
