Abstract:
The experiences which the children get in their childhood period are based on their Learning and
Teaching. Pre-Schools provide good experiences to children. The child who did not attend the preschool faced many challenges in learning at the Primary School. The environment where the samples
were selected is a developed area. However the standard of pre-schools in this developed area is a
question. The purpose of this study is to find the answers for the following questions: What are the
actions taken by the administration and management to develop the pre-schools? What are the reasons
for the poor functioning of pre-school in terms of administration and management? What is the status
of administration and management in the pre - schools? Questionnaires and observation were
conducted in order to collect data from teachers and Organizations. Moroever data were collected from
secondary sources. This is a descriptive study where the qualitative method was used to analyze data.
Recommendations were given in the light of findings.
