dc.description.abstract Education is regarded as a basic human right for all regardless of individual differences and a key ingredient for socio economic development. Special needs education is famous as inclusive Education. This Education system helps to develop the talents of differently abled children who have special needs. Special needs students are very important in the world. The special needs students are unable to learn through normal class activities. They cannot be engaged in teaching activities with normal students. The purpose of this study was to identify problems faced by special needs students in classroom activies with normal students. The objectives of the study are to identify the problems faced by special needs students when they are paired with normal students and causes of problems. The manmunai north division has been chosen for the research. Five schools from manmunai north division have been selected for sampling. The target population for this study includes junior secondary teachers, junior secondary special needs students, principals and parents. The sample includes 30 teachers, 100 students 20 parents and 5 principals. The main data collection tools for this study were questionnaires, observation, interview and documents. Data were also collected through written structured questionnaire from teachers, special needs students and parents. And interview from principals. Secondary data is collected from documents. This study applied both quantitative and qualitative approaches to process, analyze and interpret the data. en_US
