dc.description.abstract |
Men and women are the two subjects with disparities in the society. Women have often played
subordinate roles in the society from the past and they are discriminated in numerous ways.
In this respect, feminism claims gender equality among men and women in all spheres. Even
though, Feminism serves as the thoughts that support to the women who are discriminated
and pushed back in the line of development along with men through expressing the feelings
and gender perspectives of women. Feminism fails to focus on men and how they are
discriminated in the society. This study was conducted with the aim of critically analyse the
feminist thoughts which have solely focused on women as the main subject by edging the
problems faced by men. This qualitative study is based on secondary data, which was already
published on books, magazines, journal articles and reliable web sources. Descriptive analysis
method is used for this study. |
