Elder problems and solutions in approach on socio psychological views special reference to Sainthamaruthu divisional secretariat area

Abstract

This research entitled, "Elder Problems And solutions in Approach On Socio, Psychological Views Special Reference To Sainthamaruthu Divisional Secretariat Area" for the award of Special degree in philosophy. The prime Objective Of this research is to identify the problems which affect elders in Sainthamruthu Divisional Secretariat This research is a descriptive analysis with the use of primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected through questionnaires, direct observation (field survey), telephone conversation, and interview methods. Secondary data were collected from Sainthamaruthu Divisional Secretariat official records, books, and journal articles, internet and relevant documents. Questionnaires were issued for 100 Elders. This is based on random sampling method. This study comprised into five Chapters. Chapter one one provides, an overview of the study that includes the background of the research, research problems, objectives, methodology, and limitation of this study. Chapter two builds up Elder Theories in Philosophy and The facts that influences in increasing Elders. Chapter three elaborates. At the Same time this chapter discusses about the reasons for increasing elders in Sainthamaruthu and the Problems they meet such as physically, Psychologically and sociologically. Furthermore chapter four describes about the introduction of Sainthamaruthu Divisional Secretariat Which includes Population, economics, culture and education and the Solutions for reduce Elder's Problems and actions for it,. The fifth chapter deals with conclusion and recommendation for reducing Elder's Problems in Sainthamaruthu Divisional Secretariat
