dc.description.abstract Conflicts between individuals and groups at various levels are inevitable. However, it is essential that conflicts are resolved through an efficient process. In this regard, based on the five conflict resolution steps recommended by the American Management Association, the study aimed at analysing the Islamic guidelines on conflict resolution through its basic sources and historical evidence. The major finding reveals that Islam presents an avid guidance process for successfully dealing with contradictions and obtaining proper solutions. Therefore, accurate studies of the application of these guidelines in resolving the practical conflicts that appear in various dimensions in the modern era would greatly assist in the evaluation of the finding of the study. en_US
