dc.description.abstractInformation and Communication Technology (ICT) has become essential in the global society. The Internet, e-mail, and portable communication devices, such as cellular phones form a technology group that has blended into everyday lives of individuals. Public access to ICT boundless connectivity and access to information at all times are expected to empower individuals by enabling them to carry out daily tasks more efficiently. However, there is also a dark side of using ICT involving increased hours of work, stress, and loss of private time. The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) has been the subject of many discussions in the field of Library service. Technology use does or will enhance academic achievement as well as the Young people continue to use new technologies in growing numbers, in multiple facets of their lives, but knowledge about the effects of the usage is relatively thin.en_US
