The objective of this project is to provide an IT solution to MILCO. A solution was proposed to make the inventory management system more efficient, more than the existing manual process. A thorough analysis was conducted to gain an insight to the inner working of the organization. The problems in the existing system were identified. Various methods such as interviews, document reviews were used to gather information about the existing system and to identify user requirements. Research was conducted in the areas that would be required for the analysis of the system and also in formulating a solution. Inventory control is one of the main research parts of the project. As the next stage, designing of the proposed solution was undertaken. Many modeling techniques were used in this phase to design and communicate to the reader about the proposed solution. After that it came up with a better inventory management system for MILCO. The recommendations and remarks stated are in line with the nature of the company, business environment, primary data analysis and the specified research domains. As this is a standalone system in future it can be implemented to a windows based system alsoen_US
