Sexual abuse is seen as a growing social problem in society in recent times. Innocent children and teenagers are being abused by the activities of a few psychopaths. Such increasing sexual activity in society is seen as a problem that poses a great threat to the lives of future generations. Therefore, the objective of this study is to identify the causes of sexual abuse and propose Islamic solutions for protection against sexual abuse. The study was carried out with the help of descriptive and analytical methods the data for the study was obtained by the quantitative method and the primary and secondary data were used. The questionnaire method was used as primary data and research articles, journals, texts, and web articles as secondary data. Researchers distributed and collected primary data from 126 state university students in Sri Lanka. The study concludes that factors such as drug abuse, neglect of religious rites, physical infirmity, poverty, social media, personal travel, and dress code systems are the basis for sexual abuse. It is therefore possible to prevent the occurrence of sexual abuse while adhering to the teachings of Islamic morality and to eliminate the causes that lead to sexual abuse.en_US
