| Abstract: | Microbial biotransformations of various anabolic steroids are reviewed. Studies on oxidation, reduction, and carbon bond cleavage are highlighted. Various anabolic steroid substrates, their metabolites and the microorganisms used for the biotransformations are compiled covering the literature from the period 1984−2018. |
