dc.description.abstractThought and the search for the Folktales of Tamil is being Continued. The changes occurred to Economic and The Politics due to the reing of British men also made an impact on social changes too in India. These changes immensely contributed for the development in Litrature. As it happened in Western World Novels were The First Literary work in Tamil Nadu followed by Short Stories. The reason for the emerge of Short Stories in Tamil Nadu were responsible for the Short Stories in Ealam too. In 1930’s Papers and Magazines also made an impact on the development of Short Stories. Example: The Magazine Such as Manikodi, Kalaimahal Anandha VihadanDuring this Era, several reputed writers wrote Short Stories. Example: Pichchamoorthi, Pudhumaippiththan, P.S. Ramayya, K.P. Rajagobal Mouli were some of the writters. The Short Stories published after independance of 1948 Highlighted The Freedom Problems of Low Level people social Concept and the village culture of the social reduction occurred in 1956 responsible for The social Vigilance. So that, Sinhala Language was declared as The State Language followed by with ethnic riots and the problems among different Classes also occurred the writters. Such as W.A. Rajerathnam, Nevi Ponnayya, A.S. Abdussamad, Fomnicjeewa, K. Danial, Piththan involved in Writing Short Stories. W.A. Rajaratnam Contributed for Litrature in Different areas such as poems, essays, short stories, novel, drama, translations and Critism were some of his Contributions.The Short Stories of W.A. Rajeratnam indicates his ebilities. The Short Stories of W.A. Rajaratnam Highlights The Louth Problem related to Female The Short Stories base on village concept social discriminations. Therefore the Contribution of W.A. Rajaratnam as being analysed in this research.What is the contribution of W.A. Rajaratnam through the short stories for the development of short stories of Ealam? What is The Main concept of the Short stories of W.A. Rajaratnam? How Effective The ebility of W.A. Rajaratnam in bringing out the main theme? This research has been done to get the answers for the above questions related to the history works of W.A. Rajaratnam Socialogical and the language approaches have been used in this research. First and the second type of the system of searching related facts have been used in this research. The book written by The writters have been used as the main source and the essays critisisms and the message in the social media have been used as subordinates sources.So far, the few the essays and the short stories of W.A. Rajaratnam been published. But there is no research done so far to Highlight the contribution of W.A. Rajaratnam for the development of short stories of Ealam. Therefore, this research is an important one as it analyses. The contribution of W.A. Rajaratnam for the development of Literature and short stories of Ealam.en_US
