Abstract: Education is the most power full weapon to change the world. Around the world every government recognized the importance of education. And they updated and develop their education system. Sri Lanka also made huge changes in education system. This new system of education should assist individuals & group’s competencies relating to personal development. This is the one of the main goal in our nation education system. So this research find out Sri Lanka’s education system is either contribute or not to develop student’s personality growing from Sainthamaruthu and Negombo schools. A research was carried out on the heading, “Contribution of school education in student’s personality development: cooperative study focused on schools in Sainthamaruthu and Negombo”. For these study datas have been collected from primary & secondary data. Primary data have been collected these technique through observation & interview. Secondary data were collected from NIE record, GS record, student’s progress report, teacher’s guide book, website, magazine. According to the research findings on the comparison of both schools important aspects had been identified: Unproper learning systems, lack of resources for students and lack of students teacher interaction. There different ability students learning in a same class so, the teaching and learning methods are not flexible for everyone. Some suggestions can be proceeded in order to mitigate or prevent the mentioned issues in both Sainthamaruthu and Negombo schools. Teachers training must be held on every year, could make a friendly environment for disable students, playing based learning methods for grade three students and pasting counselors for each schools. If these suggestions would be considered in those schools, then the personalities problems among students will reduce as well as each every student can gain an equal education.
