Abstract: The worldly existence of the Hindus, the categorical position of asceticism, can be asserted to mean that the whole of human life depends on the Ethics. It is said that Ethics is the set of morals systems that man has defined for himself. Human behavior in a particular society, is a moral decision that people usually assume. Thus, when individual behavior was adopted by most people, morality blossomed into a lifestyle. This is the life of the Hindus. The Hindu morality has been quoted by in many Hindu literature. Among them is the Tamil Kaviyam Kandapurana, written by Kachchiyappa Sivacharya in the 12th century AD, highlights many of the good living practices and morals. They say that “There is no other legend in the Kandapurana”. In this case, Hindu Ethics is revealed through a study entitled, “ Ethics in the Life of the Hindus : A Centralized Study of the Kandapurana”. This article has been carried out using the descriptive methodology. Moreover, the study is set out to show that the moral values found in the Kandapurana are capable of enriching the life of the Hindus.
